Hello all.I have been reading this site for a couple of weeks now,so thought it was time to join.I'm 32 and have been riding/racing motocross since the age of 4.Thinking about it now,it seems strange that I never had a road bike in all that time!Fast forward to 08,and I took possesion of a nice new s2 on the 1st of March.:D
Fantastic, love it,really cant get enough!1500 miles so far in wind rain and sleet.I hope to get to know you all over the coming months:)

cheers,Ben.

Welcome to the site, glad that you "Finally" made the transition over to street riding.

Ride lots (shouldn't be a problem from the sounds of it) and post often!

Welcome Aboard. Nice of you to join us. Enjoy the site, look around and you'll find just about everything you'll need to know about the FZ6 on this forum.

So Ben, are you still a swing rider or are you now just riding on the hard deck? Like you, I started in the dirt and to this day still play in the mud and such as we have our own track. Just can't get the dirt out of me I guess.

Welcome to the forum and I hope your transition is a safe one....

HavBlue I don't think I'll ever stop riding in the dirt,I'm racing tomorrow and I think I always will for as long as I physically can.But I'm loving riding the street, two totally different riding styles-and I test rode an r1 earlier...it would look so nice in the garage next to the fz6.Just wish I had the money:(

I know what you mean and I don't ever think I could give up the dirt. I grew up riding in the deserts of southern California, Nevada and Arizona. Just ain't nothin like the open desert. Glad you're having fun on the hard deck too. Stay safe..
