This is the coolest footage I've seen in a while. A bird decides to be the cameraman. I wish there were more cameramen like this :BLAA:

LOL! :rof: That is so cool except that bird might only have flown to someones back yard a half block away and you don't know where to start looking for it!

Someone said the seagull had a Youtube account and posted the video

1. Was that the bird that really made that sound? Waaaaaarh

2. Least the bird didn't drop it!

3. Seagulls=Thieves in general, "OOO Something Shiny!" What was the movie where the seagulls were like "Mine Mine Mine Mine"

4. Cool Vid!

That was finding nemo great movie. Also that vid was hilarious

The footage is actually quite artful, especially the closing frames. Looks like something David Lynch would have made.

Joe

You are right. Which led me to think maybe this was staged. It looks like the owner of the camera and the seagull, both knew where good lighting was. :D The bird sets up a beautiful shot when he lands and puts down the camera for the first time

Hahaha yes I believe that was him saying something like "fcuk this was heavy and... its not edible!!!???:eek: "

Im surprised that he yelled before he put down the camera..

Man, seagulls are smart. They poop on people carrying things that are potentially food. They know that if you poop on them they will drop the food and not pick it up. Seen this so many times Im pretty positive they know :D

This isn't the first incident with this bird. He's been busy in other neighborhoods...

The original video has to be staged. Why would you put your camera on the ground right in front of a seagull? :spank:

What?! He stole the chips and then didn't even eat them all! He had a few bites then flew off. Guess he stole the wrong flavor? And that shop doesn't need mouse traps I guess, but rather seagull traps. They could be disguised as Dorito bags, and when the bugger goes to steal a bag, SNAP!!!, you've got yourself a seagull. LOL

As to the first vid, are seagulls even trainable? It just looks staged. Like Fizzer6 said, why would you see a seagull and immediately drop your most valuable item that your're carrying at the moment right in front of it? That'd be like walking through a rough neighborhood and throwing your wallet on the ground in front of a gang member. Maybe he was trying out some new anti-theft reverse psychology technique. "If I set it on the ground as if it's worthless, maybe it/he won't steal it." lol
