Yeh, thanks for a great mornings ride Jason. heaps of bikes out
Looks like only the boys were allowed out for the ride today and the girls had to stay at home....:rof:

Woohoo, its demo day :D Time for me to get my ass out to the dam.

Looking forward to taking the Super Tenere & the new Triumph Tiger 800XC for a spin. This will provide the definitive answer on which Adventure/Tourer i'll buy.

Still don't think either will sway me away from the 660 Tenere or F800GS, but what the hell, who doesn't like riding new bikes

Well, the Tiger 800XC is a very good bike. Great effort by Truimph on their first proper Adventure/Tourer. Super smooth motor, slick gearbox, light & easy clutch and that sexy triple sound.

Downers, the seat is a little hard (not much softer than the seat on my 1997 Tenere!). I like this bike, but I would not buy it.

The Super 10, wow! IMO it is the best bike in its class. Yep, even better than the BMW R1200GSA. The bike has grunt. Caught me completely off guard when I turned out of the carpark & onto the main road. I totally forgot the bike has switchable power modes! Yes, an Adventure/Tourer with a Touring Mode and a Sports 'Lets go ****ing mental' Mode. Also for a 260kg offroad bike, it does not feel this weight at all and doesn't feel top heavy like the 1200GSA does.

So now I have a dilemma. Tenere 660 or Super 10!

Seriously , is a Super all that good off road compared to the 660 ??? Seems like an aweful lot of grunt to get on the ground in the dirt to me :don'tknow:

The FZ needs its service & get the clutch slip sorted.

Something happened to the Strom this week. A car stopped dead infront of me at a left turn with care intersection, when the lane & traffic was totally clear.
