don't forget AIT (Advanced Individual Training). Depending on his MOS it could be up to 6 months (mine was 4 months!)

I have the felling my bike is going to be all alone in the garage for a long time once I head out to basic for the Army May 23rd. Once I found out I was leaving in May, the first thing to go though my head was how I was going to miss a large portion of the warm riding season! To make up for it, I have been trying to log as many miles as possible before I go. Already up to 900 since I got it out about a month ago despite the coldish weather.
