My favorite scheme is the white and red, as many of you have chosen as well. I like my bikes color...I should I picked it. It is "Black Cherry"...which seems to mean sorta red and purple lol.

It is definitely one of the best looking ones. Is it one of the original colour schemes, or a custom paint job? I recently saw an almost identical FZ6 for sale here in Norway.

The only change I would do is to extend the red stripe down onto the front fender.

Thank you! It's an original Yamaha colour scheme. As for painting the front guard, I did think about it, but I think it would be a bit much, IMO.

Now, carbon fiber rear guard, that's different......

Don't have bike with me today, but it's @ 40mm wide. There is also a think black edge to both sides.

I'll try to get a better pick when I'm home tonight

My Curent paint job:

Previous owner didnt' know how to take care of paint and it has swirl marks galore, and some of the paint is chipping form the edges since it wasn't prepped properly, so I'm painting it this year. (Bike was originaly dark blue, then yellow, then this black scheme.)
Next, it will be two tone white and gunmetal with red accents.
Lower half will be white, upper will be gunmetal with red pinstripe to seperate it, and I beleive that extra peice of fairing on the nose will also be red. Follow the curve of the tank to divide the colours, doing the same on the front fender and the back half of the bike... Hopefully it turns out to catch attention even more than the flames.

On the last "Official MotoGP" race summary I have, I noticed, race after race, that Valentino would overtake Casey at every corner; then at every straight, Casey would twist his right hand and overtake Rossi.
Granted, that was a couple years ago, Casey may have learned to steer by now, but they're on the same bike now so we'll see... :BLAA:

Do all the white ones have a strip down the tank, I have seen or is it an add on?
