My wife and I were just discussing Queen. She was playing the piano music of G&R's November Rain. I mentioned it had to be one of the best piano pieces in rock and roll. She corrected me and we agreed that Queen was still on the thrown.

It is, like many of the songs of its generation, an excelent song that was well writen. It seems that for the most part, people don't put the care into the songs these days. They get a rif and a bridge and then stop writing. The a good number of songs today are skin and bones compaired to the stuff of the 70's.


Check out "Generation Landslide" by Alice Cooper. Amaizing song by someone that you wouldn't necessarlly expect to be turning out such a well crafted piece.
