MotoGP: What's going on with the Hondas?

Anywho, how are the cards going to fall with the various Honda riders next year? Asphalt & Rubber has an article up talking about this very thing. HRC is running a 3 rider time, plus the semi-support they give to Gresini. Are they having second thoughts about this because of cost?

Interwetten Honda is not participating next year so Ayoama will need to go somewhere, likely Gresini, that is if Dovi doesn't get bumped from HRC, which would be a $hitty move. And LCR? Will RdP go to Pramac if Espargaro is bumped?

What are your thoughts?

My only problem with the three-man team thing is that Dovizioso will still be bumped down the list. It will just say Repsol instead of Gresini.

It would be fantastic if De Puniet could stay on a Honda and keep beating the factory bikes in qualifying
And he would probably suffer from going to Pramac, just because of that Ducati, not to forget the Suzuki....
But aren't they only fielding a one-man team with Bautista, with Capirossi going back too a Ducati with Pramac?

Think you will find Mike di Meglio is already in Moto 2 riding for Aspar. Bloody shame he hasn't been up front racing with the other crazy Frenchman Jules Cluzel :thumbup:

Everyone keeps saying young Bradley Smith is just too big for a 125. Boy has talent, shame that this year he can't turn those poles into wins. I hope he is the 'new Bazza'. Scott Redding is talented, but he comes across as the biggest ****ing wanker in the entire Gp paddock on telly!

The Moto 2 race was an absolute belter last night! It was on for young and old....fairing bashing, 4 wide into corners, block passes, huge slides, big stacks...it had it all!

I actually feel sorry for Cecchinello (? spelling ).

He did well with whiney Stoner - he quit and went to Ducati.

He did well with the sexy French speaking Randy - he quit and went to Ducati.

Now if they would only bring the lovely Mr Rolfo to MotoGP I would be very happy. Love that guy - when he's in the zone, he's a great rider. And he is really nice too - twice at Philip Island he has given me the sweaty hat off his head and signed them with a personal message (spelt my name wrong though )

As for Kallio, had all the promise when he started with KTM in 125s, but only has glimpses of his talent. Shame. Thought he'd make it.

Scott Reading has had a pretty hard time lately - he was involved in the Tomizawa incident. Maybe that's why he has a little problem.

As for Bradley Smith, watched him years ago on some rookie program on Fox - can't remember - like the RedBull rookies cup, in the UK. Definitely a champ of the future. Just needs a little more experience in 125s, IMO.

As for Bazza, there is only one. He was the last of the "playboy" riders. Real larrakin. He has been a hero of mine since I was about 6 years old. Used to watch him race in the UK. I even write my number 7's like his on his bike. I met him at Rally Australia in Perth, 2001. Made my year.

Don't get me wrong Kazza, I'm amazed that Redding is actually riding the way he is (same with de Angelis) after the events of Misano. I do feel for both of them and think its great that they are both on it up the front after such a devastating event. What happened was totally out of anyones hands.

But I have felt even before the Misano crash, Redding does come across as if he is the man of the paddock. Maybe its the fact he's only 17-18 & doesn't know any better yet............

Your right though, can only ever be one Bazza :thumbup:
