Winter is the coldest season of the year, between autumn and spring. At the winter solstice, the days are shortest and the nights are longest, with days lengthening as the season progresses after the solstice.
Winter's the season that makes you appreciate the ability to ride the other times of the year..
In the states, the further you go North, the more riders you'll see. I'm working in Georgia this week and the weather's perfect.. 70 and sunny and I saw one bike in the last 3 days. At home in Wisconsin, I'd see a dozen on my 10 mile ride to work in that weather..
Last weekend I slapped 700 miles on my FZ6 and the weather never got above 55 degrees out.
Winter's coming.. I'll ride snowmobile and look forward to spring.
