I am wondering about converting my seat to a single, i never two up ride. My wife wont have anything to do with anything motorbike related so she isnt coming along, and I am not taking any of my friends (thats just weird, two guys one bike), and with winter coming i was thinking about doing a mod giving me just one seat and maybe a storage bin behind me. i like the look of the seat cowl but unless i get a girl friend, (almost certain the wife will shoot that down :spank I will never have a second so a seat cowl is kind of a waste of money.

I am pretty sure i could fab one up, maybe, but has anyone seen a aftermarket option ? It would be nice to have a little trunk to throw my wallet, insurance etc in and not have to worry about a tank bag.

that is what i am looking for, might try and make it myself. I have built a lot of fibreglass molds and I thought about attempting some carbon fibre. The worst thing is going to happen is it doesnt work. But it is a long winter

If you don't need the storage,then Access do a single race seat,that you could mod lights etc on to for the road.Best thing is it's a bolt on job.

In regards to doing the seat mod, have to see what the winter brings.

Thankfully here in SK we have 5 - 6 months of snow and cold so i will have some time to give it a try.
