Finally got around to putting on my black, ceramic coated headers today along with my Evotech radiator guard. Very pleased with the results. :Flash:

So far I painted my headers with black heat paint 1500 seems to work pretty good for now, in the winter when riding season dies down I am going to get the headers ceramic coated too. I'm pretty sure im going to keep them black.

I would have gotten one of those, too. The store I went to did not have that autobots, But it looks like they do make one. There was a picture on the back of my wrapper showing one. The one I got was on clearance for four bucks.:thumbup:
I will have to use it for a few months to let you know. Wolfman got his done in silver on the one bike and I thought he did black on the other. I can tell you they are much easier to clean, now.
Just to let you know.....I think Evotech has really cool ideas and there products are nice, but both my FE and radiator guard had flaws in the so-called powder coated finish. Well, you may have to get the Decepticon symbol to match the purple on your bike.
Good idea! Although, for me, it would have to be some sort of TMNT logo in purple. :rockon:

Donatello is the purple one, but I was always a Leonardo fan. Oh well, either way would work. :BLAA:

That radiator guard looks really nice. From your recommendation and the pics you posted, I've just ordered one for myself...been meaning to get a radiator guard for awhile. Thanks.
Just a quick installation tip: put the flanged spacer (on the bottom that the bolt goes thru) under the Evotech guard tab before bolting down. I used a stainless washer to protect the finish from the bolt head. The guard does not have the through hole for the flanged spacer drilled out big enough anyway.

There is a very limited number of companys that ceramic coat headers over here and it is eye wateringly expensive,as the demand for it seems to be race cars.

Wow, that all looks good in black.
But, I had to chuckle when I saw that your footpeg assemblies were still silver. Just sort of seems odd that you would spend all that money on turning everything else black and leave the footpegs silver.
