not to be a total ass, but what a yamaha mechanic told me, is that the ohlins on an xjr are produced by yamaha under license. they're not the same quality as actual ohlins..

Hmmm I wonder if that's the case with the FZ6 ones. Seeing as these were for the FZ6 Cup I don't think Yam would commission a seperate build but could be wrong. Either way should be an upgrade.

No, I have an Ohlins shock here to put on, the older type without a separate "reservoir". Due to the comments by the purchaser to "arrange your own postage" I'm going to stick with the shock I've got and install it in a few weeks.

Not an issue because it says its from an 07 FZ6, and definately wouldn't suit an XJR. They also didn't come with them (the FZ6) so it would have to be a proper ohlins aftermarket shock.

Shame I'm too poor atm!
