The rear fender you have when you dont have a rear fender!

Thought i would wheel the bike out to the frfont yard and take a few better pictures...

It would seem that anything that looks like a rear fender will pass muster.
I believe if that appearance suits your purpose, then perhaps this is a way to stay legal and still be cheeky!!!
Ofcourse there are always going to be people such as myself that like the stock rear fender and there will be those that don't.

Buying something over the counter that can be used for illegal purposes may not in itself be an offence. Take for example those small brass pipes in the tobacconist shops......

Its good to be home again, just finished with the Victorian bushfire Royal Commission, not much fun. Too many lazy public servants, but thats another story....

I had to do something, i no longer have a "spare" OEM set of pipes laying around, and if i got booked again...i would be in a world of pain...in terms of getting the bike to pass through inspection...especially with my noisy pipes...

I have actually grown to like the new rear fender, and everyone seems to think that it "satisfy's" the requirements of the ADR in question...

Visibility may still be an issue Wolfman, I mean even at such close range we can't read the license plate in those pictures! I guess it could be that blurry camera tho

Definately looks nice and clean though. I don't mind the stock, but that is one of the few I think still looks legit and functional.

Well you could always go criminal and do heaps of stuff wrong.
Then 'justice' gives you a laughably short sentence and sends you on your way to do it again.
