OK, i want to put an Aluminium Radiator Guard on my FZ6...but Yamaha Australia want $334 for such an item! That is just plain silly expensive!!!

Have only found the rather bland looking "Rad Guard" brand type of radiator guard, and a rather dodgy looking one from a company called Beowolf!

What other Radiator Guards are out there??? And are they reasonably priced???

And if you are wondering what i am talking about, here's a pic.

i got mine for 145 euro from yamaha. maybe you can check ebay for 2nd hand ones, they would be in pretty perferct nick usually. i got it new because i didn't find any at the time from ebay and the ones i find get snapped up quickly or charge very high postage which did not make it worthwile. those beowolf ones dont look nice at all i agree with you

Yeah i did the e-bay thing last night....i think i pretty much exhausted the E-bay world, looking for a cheapy!

They do look rather "Sweet" though! Fell in love with the expensive little item when i saw one on the Yamaha Stand at the World Superbikes at Phillip Island this year!

We've had/got RadGuard on all our bikes - really happy with them. All black though. And you get a free stubby holder, sticker and bike magazine :D

Hey i have one of those. one of the best i have seen by far, looks very nice on the bike, especially if you have the silver engine, matches perfectly!

I was hit off recently and bike is being checked over to see if it is a write off or repairable. if it is write off and i decide to get an R6 (or simular) then i will sell mine to you for a good price as it is second hand. I will keep you informed!
