I'd go for a FZ1 or a CB1000R. Both are nice, proven bikes. Easy to fix/service, easy to find parts, easy to re-sell, lots of tried mods to improve them....

I'd go for a FZ1 or a CB1000R. Both are nice, proven bikes. Easy to fix/service, easy to find parts, easy to re-sell, lots of tried mods to improve them....
The CB1000R's are a bit expensive in Oz....
FZ1 : $15500
Speed Triple: $16500
CB1000R: $18999
All this makes the FZ1 an absolute bargain.....and good, low kilometre, late model examples can be found for about $9000 in Oz.
