I have it for my Xbox360, but not for my PS3. I prefer the Xbox360 controller for action/shooter games. I haven't played it in a month or two though. I turned my Xbox on yesterday and...Red ring of death :(. Hopefully Microsoft will fix it again for free but I doubt it.

Enjoy the game. Single player is good, online is AMAZING! COD MW1 and MW2 are some of my favorite all time games.

Cool=) I don't have the head set going on, but I play online from time to time! I will look into getting one. Depending on when you want to play, I'm in! I'm heading to training now, so I'll be online in around three hours (nine pm Norwegian time). =)

My best game ever was 32 - 2 on the Rust map. I had my kill streaks set to airdrop, turret, and harrier strike. I got 3 kills, my airdrop was a heavy gunship. I called that in, picked some people off, set up my turret in a corner...let that get me to 7 for the harrier, then I called that in. I was racking up kills so quickly because I had the turret, heavy gunship and harrier on the map at the same time. I just hung out in a corner and picked off everyone as they were running for cover. It was SOOO much fun!

The best thing about MW2 over MW1 is that you get to choose the killstreak rewards. If you pick properly, you can dominate a map! The AH-64 Apache is unbelievably fun and overkill! I've gotten 14 kills in a row with that alone and I'm sure other people have gotten more.

I've always been decent - good at shooters. I'm usually in the top 3 of team deathmatches or free for all. I just try to keep my average to 2.5 kills : 1 death. Doesn't always work out though when I get stuck in a game with other good players. As long as I'm not less than 1.5:1, it's an okay game.

No problem! Happy to impart some of my gaming knowledge. I'm no expert, and I'm sure there are others on this forum better than me. But if you have any specific questions let me know and I'll do my best to answer them.

MWF2 is a great game...I never liked 1st person shooters much until I started playing Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and have been hooked ever since. I'm on LIVE at least 3 or 4 times a week:D

It’s a good stress reliever for me:rockon:

1 more tip I just thought of. You'd probably figure it out on your own soon enough, but I'll tell you anyways. Unless you are very close to someone, do not fire full auto. Accuracy drops significantly and you won't hit them enough to kill them but you WILL give away your position. Short, quick bursts of 2-4 rounds are the most effective. You can shoot most rifles at quite a long range using this. Not sure about SMG's though, I never really play with them. I also don't use the Heavy Machine Guns much either because it's too hard not too fire long, inaccurate bursts. Rifles are my favorite and I love the ACR. I was going to buy one in March but I decided to get my FZ6 instead. It's an awesome rifle in game and in real life.

I like SCAR as primary with SPAS-12 with grip as my setup.
Slight of Hand
Stopping Power
and ?

Recently I made a knife running class. It's fun running around ninja style back-stabbing
.44 Magnum with fast knife attack
Commando
Light Weight
Unlimited Sprint

I'll second this! It adds new life to the game when you start to get a little bored. It's so much fun because people get so angry (including myself when someone does it to me) when they are repeatedly knifed. It's much more difficult to do well though, so I'd recommend playing with guns for a little before trying it if you care about your stats.

I can't remember my exact setups. I generally go with the red-dot (or whatever they call the scope that looks like an eotech, can't remember). I'm so used to that scope setup over iron sights...it usually takes me awhile to get used to a new weapon with iron sights.

If you're face to face, use the knife. Unless you have a shotgun, the knife is by far the quickest way to take someone out up close. But it takes a lot of practice to get used to knifing as a reaction. Took me quite awhile before it became second nature when up close and personal. I used to try shooting people but would usually lose until I learned to knife.

Silencer attached will not show a red dot when you're firing. Cold Blooded perk will protect you from thermal and invisible to air strikes, though you can still get hit by an AC 130 :BLAA:

This is a great info site:
