86 Fz600 Headlights/Muffler

Hello,

I need to get new headlights for my fz, can I just get bulbs, or do I have replace the whole thing if so where can I get the whole thing?

Also what is a good replacement muffler?
-Do all other Yamaha mufflers fit on?

Babbits on line(also has Yamaha parts), shows two bulbs are used. It doesn't say what style (probably an H4) so pull yours and and match em up. Both bulbs are the same part #'s

As for muffflers, diffferent style bikes use different mufflers. If the header pipe is good, you may be able to find an aftermarket slip on muffler, as long as the OD of your pipe is the same as the ID of the muffler...

take care regarding the bulbs ..the old FZ had issues with blistering and flaking reflective coating inside tha housing..normally made worse by hotter higher output bulbs
