We've been under a blanket of snow for some time now and compounded by -35°C weather early last week, reminds me how much I love living in this f@%*# place.

I think we got a record amount of snow here, it's about 30 to 40 cm. We have to go back to the late 70's for that kind of snow. Have to check my parent's photo albums for exact years of those pics of me as a little lad hip deep in the snow. Interestingly, those years there was also a crisis: the oil crisis, is that just coincidence, it does make you wonder...
