It's basically the same as Club Superbike, but you are right over the starting grid, as close to the front of it as possible, in an air-conditioned lounge, with food and grog on tap free all day, as part of your package...rider interviews & autograph sessions with Yamaha ASBK, WSBK, and WSS Factory riders, in the lounge...pit walks on Saturday and Sunday, Pit Roof access.....carpark, bean bags!!!!, close circuit tv, with lap times, etc...

Oh, and access to local support categories paddock, which is very cool!

It costs about $630 for the 3 day pass, but that includes entry, a decent park, right near where you are on track...we could see our bikes from the box last year! :thumbup:, and because all the food and drink is laid on, you dont spend a penny at the track...and, oh did i mention, right above the pits....

Been looking at the packages at PI and accomodation in Hall's Gap for the trip back, today. Starting to get buzzing:cheer:...lol.

Been looking forward to this for ages, and why not? Great Ocean Road, World Super's, and maybe fitting a rod in somewhere (won't fit my fly rod unfortunately) for a few casts in the lakes around Hall's Gap while staying in nice accomodation in one of the loveliest areas I have travelled to, and easing my aching bones with a spa at night.



All I can say is, "Bring it on!":rockon::rockon::rockon:

We nearly did not make it this year...first there was supposed to be 4 of us, then one pulled out, then another, and then I lost a big chunk of my weekly income due to losing a regular Friday DJ gig recently, which has seriously stuffed my budgetting for this trip...

But bloody minded determination, and an insatiable desire to get there has won out!!!

We won't be doing club y, or club superbike as planned...just Bar SBK, but the important thing is, we are still going!!!

And the other good thing, I confirmed a new regular Friday night gig yesterday, which will start the week I get back!

In fact I have to be back in Adelaide for the following Tuesday...as I have a big variety club gig for disabled kids on the Tuesday after next weekend!

So it's gonna be a quick ride home on Monday for me, while mikey stays on a day or 2 extra to do some fishing in the grampians...

Can't wait to get on the bike on Thursday morning, it's gonna be awesome!

PI is typically cold and windy...but it has not rained as yet!!!

Our 1100km ride here yesterday was awesome, but bloody tiring!!!

GOR was fun...especially as this was my first time riding on it, solo! Chasing mikey on the fz1 made it even more fun!

Well we have seen lots of very loveable...lots to love, xjr rider's today!

We watched from start/finish line bar for a bit, then from lukey heights, and finally from bar SBK at siberia! Which was the best spot of the 3...walked around the whole track for the first time in years...is a fair trek! Mikey has been bitching about it all day....but it's his first time here...so at least he has seen the whole joint now!

We are presently on the bus back to where we are staying...to get bikes and head into Cowes tonight!

Dunno is staying in the same joint we are...so we must catch up for a beer with him at some point!

Haslam on pole for superbikes...on a Suzuki, Aussies not on front row for once.

Was great to finally meet you guys & catch up for a beer or 9. Only got home yesterday after taking an alternate. Was a great week spent witht he family & the racing was fantastic. Just a pity CV couldn't finish a race
