This Saturday I'm heading up through Mt Mee - Woodford - Beerwah - Glass House Mountains to visit the folks for lunch. Going it alone unles someone else wants to join me. NB. you will be returning alone unless there is a group of us as I will be stopping at Glasshouse for the arvo. Leaving Enoggera area at around 10.30am. Let me know if interested.

I would have been there but i need notice by Thursday arvo :spank:.......I am however thinking of riding home over Nebo , Glorious on Thursday arvo with Darryl and a mate from work , probably stop for a cold one in fernvale on the way through if anybodies interested ???

hey all,

Just started lurking to read up about the FZ6N.. i've just got my RE's and 11.5 months until my R's! Looking seriously at the FZ6n for my first R bike. Currently got a Suzuki GS500.

Am slowly getting more confident on the bike... I did Mt Mee on the first weekend that I had it with a few friends and struggled a bit with the high speed turns.. but hopefully that'll come with time.

It's usually pretty good around that time of the day. Damain and I have done it a couple of times on a Friday and usually get an uninterupted run all the way over. If you are lucky you'll see a couple of cars. Have fun.

BTW did Daryl get his bike back or was it insurance coughing up?

It usually takes me around 1hr 15mins from Enoggera to Glass House Mts via the Mt Mee route. 40 mins if you go up the highway.

haha yes mate.. slowly getting there.. just noticed a small oil leak so need to plug that up first.. taking it in to get checked on Friday.. plus leading up to xmas it's just typically busy for me (along with everyone else). See how I travel

The insurance coughed up for Darryl so he is now the proud owner of a 2010 250 Ninja , it is actually the 1st 2010 model sold in Oz :rockon:....Here she is :thumbup:

Don't be afraid to post if you want to do an impromtu ride over Nebo or Glorious as I'm pretty much on the way. I'm only 10mins ride from the start of Nebo.

He couldnt get Red , its no longer available so he had a choice of Blue or Black... And stupid Kwaka also took away their signature green WTF !!! Its what everybody wants....

Sounds good although I'll be on Fraser Island.

Maybe we do that short Mt Lindsay loop in a couple of weeks time or we can do the sunny coast loop within a morning if we leave around 7.30am and limit stopages. Damian and I did a sunny coast loop and we were back home for lunch.

Just a couple of suggestions. Would love to do that short Mt Lindsay loop though.
