And no, I don't see any problems using leftover oil. As long as it's the same brand/weight it'll be fine.

OMFG! Is this post for real? It's OIL, pour it into the bike and GO! Look on any bottle of oil and show me an expiration date.

I used some 10 year old pharmaceuticals last week when I had the flu. No problem. So far.

In all seriousness, as long as you change the oil regularly and are not racing (ie. over 8000rpm consistently) you could use pretty much anything you want with no problems. Modern oils are so good that it really doesn't matter for a street ridden bike.
