I drank some vodka tonics last night, so "I don't feel so good" is no lie. haha!

Last weekend I went solo to practice my cornering & braking. Traffic was near zilch, so it was perfect. I visited the "Yeti" then came back up Banner grade. That's the first time I've been out there. Very nice. Did about 200 miles total...skills are getting better everyday!

Reading Sport Riding Techniques by Nick Ienatsch has been an eye-opener. Lots of good info there.

I was sitting at work today, thinking that Cliff was out cooking Montezuma road and I thought, man this sucks.

I thought of all of you as I thrashed my way through hill and dale. Hahaha.

CHP was surprized and so was I as I was knee down coming around a turn going down Montezuma Valley Rd. I actually saw him wobble his vehicle as I came into view. I didn't flinch. I kept it tight on the line and figured I'd stay looking pretty in the turn even if I was going to get a ticket. No brake and no lights so I kept on jamming down the mountains. CHP is cool....

Was almost 80 deg. in Borrego and met up with two others at Christmas Circle and we headed across to 78 and made the climb up Banner Grade.

Didn't do Pally. It was cloud covered at higher altitude and was probably not a good idea as far as grip was concerned.

I'll hollar out again the next time I make a run.....

Actually...No! Got laid off. Been looking but it's a soft market with a lot of "Value Engineering" running businesses now. We'll see what happens in the coming months.

In the meantime it's keeping an ear to the ground. Taking care of family and friends and other projects. Oh yeah and riding!:rockon:

I took a day off to go to Disneyland with my mom and older daughter today... had a lot of fun even though it sounds like your day was just as cool!

BTW, I almost crapped myself when I saw that they want $72 for a day at Disneyland (adult price) these days!!! WTF?!? I told them Juliette wasn't 2 yet... so I did not pay for her... bastards!

Im doing okay, girls all think they are super models....... lol anyway I head out on sat back to northern la. I will be back in town in like 2 and a half weeks. hoping to have time to hit ya up and we will go hit up that burger joint! envy you for being able to ride today! My bike is sitting back in ny in a garage on a cold concrete floor. Prob not gonna start in the spring to get back at me for having to leave it so long....
