Apparently I've been moping a bit of late. (Who'd notice? I'm always grumpy...lol)

I've been staying at home a lot and keeping out of trouble, 'cause my bike is broken.

What this means is that one trouble making mate, gets in touch with another trouble making mate, who gives me a call and says, "Mike. We have to organize this week end to get that 750 up to you so you can ride it."


Jamie and Gaz, You guys F^&*ing rock:rockon::rockon::rockon::rockon:

I won't ride the wheels off it...lol...but this means I can pop out for a coffee or whatever with the guys on the weekend and get my riding fix.:thumbup:

This will make it sooo much easier to hold off 'til I've got the cash to upgrade.

I was at work when I got the call from Gary and I had to wipe away the tears. Thanks guys:bow::hug:(that's a totally not gay man hug:D...lol)

This makes me think of that line from On Any Sunday. I don't recall it verbatim, something like "Just when you think everything is bad in the world you see people out having fun on motorcycles."

You do have some good mates :) Makes me feel good inside and I'm a few "ponds" away :)
 
No more whingeing....bitch! now that we have delivered the bike...it's time to go riding!

I say this as i know Mikey is at a bike shop as i write this getting himself some new boots! so he can go riding! funny that!

Anyway, glad to be of service, but Gazza is the one you really need to thank, not me, it's his bike your riding!!!

And, oh, Gazza tells me your on the Z1000 right now!!!! hope you dont soil that seat ya little Devo!

One little ride on the back of your bike and I'm a biatch?...lol.

I'll thank Gary by having that little nick in the seat fixed and get it custom reworked as well...lol...along with a few other plans I've got:thumbup:.

Yup...rode the Zed thou today and with all the braided lines, Ohlins forks and shock combined with an easy power with the ability to scream at will I'm pretty lucky i didn't soil myself. That bike is sweet....lol. (I knew it was, but I've always knocked back riding it as I knew I'd want a litre bike...lol).

The tires are as hard as flint on the 750....lol...Got rained on (unusual I know) coming back from Gary's place and went across nearly half the intersections sideways...lol.:rockon::rockon: New tires ASAP....lol.

You would've seen the hugest grin at the first wet intersection tonight...LMAO. I'm not too afraid of loss of rear end traction and I haven't ridden for 4 weeks...lol...I crossed one intersection on a bend completely sideways off the line and was still spinning as I clicked into 3rd 100m up the road:rockon::D. Can't keep them on there as they are dangerous, but Gee that was fun:D.
