Hot enough for ya?

Last winter we heard from our mates in Aussie land about being a bit warm.

Now it's our turn. Been running from the mid 90's up to 109F in the central valley of Ca. A little better where I live at 3k feet, only been up to 100 but not much cooling at night.

So how hot is it in your where you live?

It was in the high 90's and even up to 100 (but not over) here last week. This week has been MUCH cooler. Mid 60's in the mornings, and low to mid 70's in the afternoons.

I can't let this weather go unappreciated - I'm playing hooky tomorrow and enjoying the nice weather with a nice ride through the Santa Cruz mountains...

Well last weekend, I taught the Basic Rider Course here in Vegas and it was 112 degrees. That was the air temp, but out on the range where it's black asphault, the damn cones were litterally melting ontop the black asphault and the scorching sun. We were out there for 9hrs, with no shade or air conditioning.

The hottest I've ridden is 117 degrees, and that's with full gear. Want to know what thats like? Put on your helmet, and put a hot blow dryer in front of your face.

Been hovering around the 100 mark for a few weeks now. Highest this month was 107. Got a break today though. Cloudy and light rain, never broke 70. Was a nice change. Just sucks that it was too wet to ride

Its the midst of winter here in Brisbane. Today its 26 degrees..... celsius. That's apparently 79 Farenheit. The killer is that its extremely low humidity at 65%. Can't wait for summer when the humidity hits a million.... NOT!

I've gotta move back south (that's where its colder here in the 'top' half of the globe).

Been unseasonably cool here in the St. Louis Area. We have only had two days this month where the temps have been 90+. Normally the grass would all be turning brown here and the humidity and heat would be though the roof. But instead we are still cutting grass and morning and night rides make your eyes water from the cool air. :thumbup:LOVE IT!!!

It's been nice for vancouver. It's supposed to get up to 34 C next week. that 93 F and that's where I live by the ocean. Next weekend I'm going to this place in beautiful BC called Kelowna (wicked town) which is in the Okanagan valley and it's forecasted to be 38C or 101F next week!!

We've been pretty toasty, but I can't complain after seeing Vegas's temps! We've been 98-102 all week, but we're cooling down and hopefully that will continue for a while. We'll probably hold in the mid 90s.

Um, it has been in the mid 70's. Very cool summer so far. It easily has been getting to the 50's at night. Only 1 day above 90. Last Saturday the high was 63 F! Had to put the liner back in the jacket.

our weather is just starting to turn......our short winter, has seen it's coldest days pass..i think, and spring is looking like it's gonna be a little early...almost jealous of the searing heat you guys are dealing with right now....bring on summer!

Our average daily high in July is 81F, historically.

If the forecast holds, the high for the entire month of July will be 81 this year.

In other words, the warmest day we've had all month, is the temperature it's supposed to be somewhere around every day! Many days, much warmer!

Great for motorcycling (except for the rain), and my electric bills are low because I haven't run the AC...except, this was the year I put in an above-ground pool for the kids! I've only been in twice this entire summer, it's been so cold!

Someone get me Al Gore's phone number: global warming is discriminating against me and I want this grievous injustice addressed immediately!

We have not had one day above 90° in the month for July here and 7 or 8 days where the high temperature has not gotten above 80°. It has also rained a lot. It is usually 90°+ and very humid here this time of the year.

Ahh yes I see the usual pattern of when we cook on the west coast you guys in the central states are cooler than normal. Would love to send some of our extended heat your way.

Vegas- I would look like those melted cones if I had to be on the track all day. I do work outdoors but I draw the line long before 117, whew!

Would be a nice time to go down under, I like cold weather riding

Just always amazes me how you folks ride those bikes upside down! :rockon:
