My younger daughter learns how to ride

My daughter learned when she was 6, about a year ago. Once they start doing it a bit, it's amazing how fast they get proficient. Since having a motorcycle, I've been exposed to some of the theory on steering a two-wheeler, and it's amazing how fast little kids can get all that figured out without ever hearing of counter steering! My 5 yr old son is riding too, and its inevitable that they are going to have some bad collisions, but not yet.

Outstanding. My little girl is learning too. She doesn't have it just yet but she is pretty close.

It takes a while but when when they've got it they can do everything, Eva cycled to school yesterday and was very proud to show all her friends that she could.

Eva was really getting up some speed and leaning into the corners, I kept thinking she was going to lean too far but she really had the feel for it. As you say they will come off some time, it's part of the learning process, luckily she still thinks a princess helmet is cool :thumbup:
