Bris Fizz ride No. 8
What a beautiful day for a ride. :thumbup:
After a few last minute apologies 5 of us rolled off from Maccas. Great run to the border and a stop up Mt Lindsay to get some video footage and pics. Darryl departed early as he had to get home before noon to mop his floors. :spank:
Great run across to Kyogle with famer Joe in his red ute as our pace car. I think he was testing us to see if we could keep up with him. A quick swerve past the kangaroo, who stuck his head out, and duck for those low flying kookaburras and we arrive at Kyogle where Humps shows us his ‘special’ lookout :hug: where he got a leg over when he was a younger lad.
On the way down had a near miss with a P plater heading up to the lookout.
Mt Warning Pub was our lunch stop. :iconbeer: Don’t ride past this pub if looking for a feed, you won’t be disappointed.
Fuel stop at Murwillumbah and off to Mt Tamborine…or so we thought.
Humps zigged when we should have zagged and we ended up on the wrong side of the range at Currumbin. 
This time we zagged and not zigged and came to a dead end. Nice looking water hole and walking tracks though.
A bit of head scratching and we found ourselves back on the M1 heading north with Tamborine over there in the distance. Getting late so we make a B line home up the highway.
That was one of the better circuits we have done. A definite repeat in the coming months.

Thanks for the great days ride guys , the weather gods certainly shined upon us today ....I loved QLD in Autumn.....How good was farmer Brown in that ute LOL , he was hookin' so i was happy to use him as a wood duck ....Not that we were being naughty at all 
........Skippy certainly put the wind up me a bit , wasnt expecting him at that time of the morning :spank:....
Enjoyed the little burst i gave my bike just before Kyogle , should of hooked in with me Paul we could of been :squid:'s together
....I was only checking the front end was stable at high speed after the new head bearings went in :thumbup: , i promise......
Still raving to anybody that will listen about that lunch we had , it was awesome and i nice little watering hole to match.... Sorry about the zigging instead of zagging but you get that LOL , was still a great Rd anyway....
Ohh yes and before i forget , Darryl did get his floors mopped :spank:

Awesome stuff, glad to see yas had a great time, I'm soooo jealous... My bike should be all sparkly new by the end of this week I'm told, will be HELL keen for a decent ride next week end, especially now I've missed a brizz fizz installment!!
This virago 250 loan bike is starting to give me the shizers big time!

Cool, sounds good mate, fingers crossed the weather will clear up, bit o rain today...
Handed over the cheque from nrma to the folks at yamaha marooka today and they reckon that it could be ready by Wedesday arvo
I hinted at needing some new gear and they said they would do me a VERY good price on any apparel for spending soo much money with them lol I wonder what I could wring out of this...

Just a reminder guys that June 29th-31st is round 3 of the Australian superbike Championship and will be starring the FZ6 Cup :cheer:......I'll be heading out there early both Satdee and Sundee to get the best vantage point to snap some photo's of the Fizzers carving the joint up :thumbup:......Thinking i'll fire up the BBQ for breaky at my joint on Sunday morning before i head out so let me know if your interested in coming guys.............Just read in TwoWheels that due to the cancellation of the Symmons' Plains round that QLD is now a double header to play catch up for the lost round .....

Mate, that is gold, I wouldn't know the first thing about doing this kind of thing, but hell keen to give it a stab, being mechanically minded n all.
You're making it real easy (or is it hard?) for me to decide whether or not I get these Two Bros!!!
I've checked out a few aussie shops but they are like twice the price!
