the two other fellas who were coming now can't :(
I hope it's just not gonna be me.....

What an awesome days ride. The weather was perfect. :D

Did everyone else sleep in?

Luckily Adrian (the Adelaidian) :welcome: turned up. Only two of us headed off over the mountain for an uninterrupted run. Adrian enjoyed the ride over the hill and spent much of his time rubber necking at the scenery. Wivenhoe dam is filling up too.

Across the fields to Gatton where we pick up another new face, my cousin Adrian on his 1200 Firestorm. Yep two Adrians.

A café stop and a chat to introduce ourselves followed by a quick comfort stop. That winding section of road along Ma Ma Creek was brilliant in reverse. Toowoomba for a regroup and fuel stop. The section of road from Hampton down to Esk has been freshly redone and is now an awesome section of road, especially at speed. :D A must do for everyone.

Esk bakery was the lunch stop. After our fill of pies and a chat for 1 ½ hours we thought we should get a move on.

Cousin Adrain heads south back to Ipswich while Adrian (the Adelaidian) and I head north towards Somerset Dam and back to Mt Nebo. On the way back I decided to show Adrain the downhill run to Samford for a different route home.

A shake of the hands at Enoggera ends the days ride.

Thanks Adrain’s for the days ride. Hope you both enjoyed it as much as I did. And for those who couldn’t make it :spank:, well, you missed out on a brilliant days ride.

Hope you can make it next time.

got to be honest, there were a few waiting stops for Adrian to catch up.....

Or we could meet at Ippy macca's again and go via the back road into Beauie :don'tknow:......Even better if we can attack that Rd at speed :D.....Just lemme know what the popular decision is
