I tested out two different camera setups on my last trip.
One is a 20$ tank mount I bought at ebay which is very good, you see revs, speed through the screen and you hear the engine nicely and not much wind noise at all.
Then I took a RAM mount, used the U-Bolt on my frame slider and put on the RAM ball screw on the camera, this is my favorite mount for the track, as you get low, you see the forks working hard and well I like it. The tank mount is fine on trips as it is easy to operate on and off.
Anyway here is a video covering this, pardon the quality as I dual compressed the file... Also the start of the movie clip is tank mount, then a bit handheld from action in a hilltribe, but with patience you get a little more tank mount then the frame slider mount from a race track.
