Should his exaust be doing this?

This is pretty mental. I imagine it's because he has the full system with no cats. I wish my exhausts could flame though. There are obviously lots that the camera misses due to not having a high enough frame rate. I think it must flame every time it makes a pop - but we only see like 1 in 10 except further towards the end.

You can hear it, it's the tiny explosions caused by the IAS system.

The IAS injects air into the cylinders during the exhaust stroke, in an attempt to burn the extra unburnt fuel, and this happens in the exhaust system, that's why you hear a popping noise during deceleration.

Since he likely doesn't have a cat, and has a pretty unrestricted exhaust system, you're seeing the effects of the IAS system in action.

It should not hurt anything, the bike is just running a tad rich. The unburned fuel is igniting in the hot exhaust system, causing the pretty blue flames.:Flash: If you removed the cat and had a PCIII and set it to run richer than stock, you will get the same result. Probably not the best thing for carbon fiber cans though.
