Mouse in the car

Oh dear. The wife left some chicken feed in the boot of her car since Sunday and a mouse has got in and started eating through the feed and a couple of panels. It's made a nest in a side panel near the rear lights. Got to catch it before it eats through any electrics so i'm off to get some mousetraps on the way home.

Any suggestions as to bait? I heard cheese is no good. I also heard peanut butter might work.:rant:

They love chocolate, I could get you some digoxin. To Stop the buggers heart. Could also give you a borrow of my air rifle. I wont eat mouse though.

I hate mice. One year I had them get in the house, and get in the oven insulation and build a nest. I was married and my wife didnt cook, and I was always at work. So one weekend I go to cook a cake, turn the oven on, and it smells like someone is baking mouse turds and pee. It was bad. I ended up throwing the oven away and buying a new one.

ewwwww, mice. We had a mouse in the garage before and it went underneath the seat on the harley. I hooked up the air compressor, blew him out and shot him with a pellet gun...........just be careful if you do that, the pellets ricochet. :thumbup:

There are four traps in the car tonight with a combination of chocolate and cheese. The little bugger has eaten loads of the panels.

I'll let you know in the morning if we caught it......

I sat next to a guy playing poker a while back who owned a pesticide company. I asked him that very same question, what works best as far as putting something inside the trap. I mentioned I put chocolate in the trap and he laughed. He said to use peanut butter, they love it!

If you look carefully at the pic you'll see his jaws are wrapped round a nice lump of chocolate. Yum yum - SNAP!!!!!
