the sea is pretty at times, but it when it smells, oh boy, it smells. It makes me nauseous and you can actually smell it 60 miles away. People actually swim in it and FISH!!!! ACK! (yes.....people eat the fish.) There's also alligator gar that live in there, which can get grow up to about 13 feet long. They are the size of an alligator with an alligator head, but it has fins and scales like a fish.

sometimes. I hate the summer here.....record high was two summers ago at 127 degreesF.......and I hate the "boom boom" music. Other than that, it's okay (I guess). We're moving in 4 years.

The BLM calls it Imperial and those of use that used to go there before the CBD lawsuit call it Glamis. At one time this place was like the Sturgis of the sand world but once again, all good things come to an end.....

I've never heard them as Imperial Sand Dunes...that sounds weird....it's always been Glamis. (for me)
