Drink and Post?

The Aussies took over! Yipes!

I don't drink much, but when I do, I prefer a nice pint of Guinness. If it's not available, or there are microbrews available, I'm a fan of porters and stouts. I don't like hoppy bears, so pale ales are out.

On the other end of the spectrum, I do enjoy a nice hefeweizen in the summer.

Guinness, Stella, Bass, Koenig Pils (German...mmmmmm), Sweetwater 420 (Atlanta Microbrew) and Newcastle. Brooklyn Lager is also an awesome beer.

Liquor: Johnny Walker Blue, Gran Marnier and Jack Daniels

Cheers :iconbeer:

It is a chilly fall evening here and I was sitting enjoying a glass of my *favorite* - it got me thinking... How many of you drink and post? And - what is your drink of choice? Mine is bourbon.

I never post to the forum when I'm drunk. It takes away from my riding time.

It aint booze in my case, i just cant type, or have you tried posting from an I Phone....near on impossible to do without making huge typo's.....Lol

:spank:

Thank god for the spell checker on the iPhone...

haven't gotten over my refusal of vodka sipping
something fun if it's on sale
then the cycle starts again

and of course the random come home from work and your housemates have a keg to finish...so it's your duty to help them!

post? Heck I joined this forum in the midst of a long night of hard drinking!!

Typically, a beer or two is in order when it's forum-time (mostly because that means it ISN'T homework time), but right now, with the little one on the way, it is water, milk, or juice for me. I do get my wine kick by fooling myself with some sparkling grape juice very now and then. :)

Red Beer-Coors light and tomato juice.

I've been meaning to try that for years now! The first and last person I saw drink it was an Irishman who was getting ready for work in the morning (Chicago winter, working outside, functional alky). It was my friend's Dad and for some reason he dragged me out of bed early on a Sat morning and made me do a shot of irish moonshine with him while he drank his red beer...f'n guy.

Red Beer may not be as bad as it sounds, but for months, I walked past Budweiser with Clamato in it and finally I had to try it. I love clams, love tomato juice, don't care for bud, but when combined, without a doubt, it was the worst thing I ever tasted.

Had my first Bud & Clamato a couple months ago (they're called Cheladas (I think) around here and pretty popular with the hispanic population.
It was... okay. I drank my first Guinness in college and it was months before I tried another one... and then became a fan, so I won't rule out the Chelada just yet.

American Guinness isn't as good as the real thing because it's pasteurized.
