Hi,
I have a Yamaha FZ6 S2 Fazer ABS 2008.
I use this bike only in city and no were else.
I am 100 kilos and my friends are also 100 kilos.
So when I try to move to uphill every time the bike is chocking and turns off.
When I am alone with no passenger and no cargo I don't have any problem.
So I am interesting only for most torque that I can get and nothing else.
I am not minding to lose even 30 or 40 km/h from my top speed.
What is my options for gears that I should choose?
I have drive with 16/49 and 16/52 but it was almost the same.
I am thinking if exist anything for up to 16/61.
Do you know anything about it?
Also which companies make gears for FZ6?
Thank you.

did you try changing down a gear (or three)?

the bike really shouldn't be struggling that much

bear in mind it can hit 130km/h in 2nd gear with ease

+1 ^^^

The clutch range is very short and can be tricky if the clutch cables are dirty and not properly lubricated. There is a clutch lever mod that can be had that will ease clutch operation helping to make it smoother. Contact Killernoodle who is a member on our forum. :)
