Buying Scorpions....stainless or carbon?

One of our local bike accessory shops is selling Scorpions for my FZ6 at very nice prices: $489 for the stainless and $590 for the Carbon Fiber cans.
I have the incredibly quick red FZ6, and both styles of Scorpions will look great on it. Trouble is, I can't make up my mind which ones to get.

I'd go for the CF myself; I'm also drooling over the HJC helmets in CF (pricey!)

I love the CF look and would prefer that but 100 clams is a substantial price difference.

if your a gram geek get the CF, i would go for the SS and use the money saved on some other gear. Unless you're loaded then go for the CF.:Flash:

I think the CF might give a less tinny sound...

Id go carbon. It will look cleaner with the black frame. Stainless does stand out more if thats what you're looking for. which shop is this at by the way?

are the pipes actually carbon or just wrapped in carbon? I think most are just wrapped for heat and cosmetic purposes.

Bayside Performance. They've just updated their website to show the CF Scorpions for the FZ6.
