So the first race is a thing of the past and it was pretty exciting. Debuts for BMW and Aprilia, familiar faces on unfamiliar bikes and a couple of new faces.

Ben Spies had a rude awakening when he was pushed off by Biaggi after starting from pole but he made up for it by winning the second race. Haga is as fast as always on the Ducati and got a win and a second. Suzuki looked fast too, finishing second and third in the first race. Both BMWs in the points which is good for a brand new bike.

Wow , yes it was a great one. Great for Ben Spies and Yamaha. Usually follows F1GP but want to follow SBK this year as well - the new interest in motorcycles demands that ;)
