We had our Norwegian version as well last year, but with a 13 year old girl (the daughter of a friend from school). First she was hit by a tank lorry and ended up lying on the ground. Then her jacket hooked a part of the undercarriage of the car behind the lorry (a Chrysler sedan, I think), and was dragged along under the car for four kilometres. She was found almost one hour later after an extensive search, still conscious. She has been undergoing several rounds of surgery and physical therapy, and is said to be close to 100% again (as close as you can be after something like that).

I heard last year about a coyote.
