Speedy recovery
I'm glad I'm not the only one who signals right before they change lanes. I just signal as I'm moving over to a safe open spot, I don't give other drivers the opportunity to speed up and close me off.
I do signal EVERY TIME if:
~There is a car in front of me that I am passing. I just don't trust them, they usually wait until the last second and drift over into the lane you are planning on passing them in. It is amazing to me how many people just cruise in the left lane. It's for passing, not cruising!!
~At an intersection. I have seen way too many cagers make the dreaded left when I am about to do the same. With a signal they know I am making a left and will either give me room or wait (usually).
