Bike jacket with armour, pants with armour (over work clothes if commuting), proper gloves, steel toe/shank work boots, and full helmet of course. I debated "real" bike boots but I'm confident with mine, and they already saved my toes once when I got my foot caught under my old bike.

Helmet, gloves, Oxtar boots, jeans, and Fieldsheer textile at a minimum when riding around town. When I head out into the countryside, I don the full 'Stich along with the other gear, no matter how hot it gets (it's akin to torture sometimes, lol). I ride a lot of 2up with the wife on the back and she goes full gear all the time.

ATGATT for me, even if I'm just going 5 miles down the road to gas the bike back up. Just a habit for me at this point. When I go to work I just put my work clothes into my backpack and just change in the bathroom when I get there. :)
