I think the ponies are used to being fed from cars passing through , so the bike got a good looking over for food , maybe fenders looks like food if you're a pony!!

Might give the BOM a try next time , am I right in thinking I need 50 posts to qualify ?

Oh yes!! As I type the rain is hammering down with a force 8-9 wind helping it along ,December/January is the windy months usually.

There isn't many days through the year when there isn't any wind.

They are free roaming ponies with owners , pretty tame too. It wasn't long after I came to a stop that one wandered over to see what was going on
