thank you all for the replies..... the chain is on the loose side ( Yamaha specs ).
I had adjusted the throttle cable and will adj the chain to the tight side of spec tonight.
The FZ is actually a really nice bike for what it is.. my daughter is loving it
do these girls in general have excessive drive line lash ? I bought her with 17,000 and unless I am smooth  i can really feel it. It is hard to think the cush drive is warn out already, any thoughts /insight ??. I am used to Kawi liter bikes so still figuring out the FZ nuances...
thank you
this is the route I had gone
I actually made a couple parallel butt connectors so no splicing and all plug in incase I wanna remove it... did the same with the LED Plate lights
thank you again
Ray
I have a 2007 FZ6 and just bought a fender elim, intergrated tail and short stalk leds for the front.
I actually like the look of the Shorty leds on the rear as well.. soooo my question is will there be any issues if I hook up the separate led rear turn signals WITH the intergrated tail light...
with that said the FZ6 is a fun bike and my daughter has already claimed it
just waiting to see the new FZ9 in person, she should be a fun platform to start with
sorry for the thread jack
wow
into the 30's when the counter starts counting .. nice
I dont run them low just playing at the moment trying to figure her out
thank you for the info
I lost one of screws that holds the the front turn signal bracket to the fairing. I have been to the local parts store but no luck for a match. The closet Yammie dealer is a 1 1/2 away sooo was hoping not to there but is an option.
is there any place online to source one ?
thansk again
when the light flashes and the counter start counting... who has pushed it to see how many miles they could go before that is all she wrote ?
thanks
Ray
lol for sure
for what it is worth I did the 520 coversion with DID and Super Sprox on my
Z1000.. dynoed at 129 & 87 to the rear wheel. After 12,000 miles they still looked new. A maintained good quality set up is lighter and will last just as long so a win win IMO .
