After reading most of the threads around here about boots I finally pulled the trigger on a pair of touring boots. These are the first pair of boots that I have owned that are specifically designed for motorcycling. I don't have any selection of boots in my area and when I was visiting my family...
It's a short and uneventful video, but I am very excited about playing with this camera. I also took a short video using a RAM mount suction cup mounted to my tank, but it vibrated on bumps a little more than I would like even at 25mph. I assume highway speeds works make it worse.
I am very...
I recently found the website for Drayco Jeans and it looks like a very good pair of riding jeans. I know they are not near as good as armored leathers, but having comfortable gear will encourage people to wear it all the time (some gear is better than no gear).
Anyways, I was looking for any...
After several weeks of waiting, my Russell seat finally arrived. I have a TS and love it for rides under a few hours, but on really long trips I felt I needed a wider, more supportive seat. I talked with Russell seats and decided it is what I needed.
Many of you guys will think it is...
I have a TS seat on my bike and I like it allot, but I found it to be not supporting enough on my 1600 mile trip this summer. I found this seat online, and it is actually on a fz6 too. I want a seat that is much wider near the top of my thighs .and this seat looks super supportive. I know it...
Found this bike for sale. Looks like a steal.

I was going to post yesterday in celebration of being a never on here for a year but work was crazy and I forgot. So I appologize to all of you for the lack of respect.... Lol.
Seriously though, this forum is a very amazing place. It is great to have a passion for something that other people...
I was practicing some emergency stops from around 30 mph and I was able to get pretty confident and even comfortable with a little sliding from my rear tire and even felt the rear tire lift a little (never had the front slide at all).
But durring the stops where my rear slid or lifted the...
Feels like Christmas! (pictures added)
I just had a visit from the UPS man.... and he had a package straight from France with my new Top Saddlery seat! Can't wait until lunch break so I can run home and try it out on the bike. Ordered it last Friday (3/2/12, but it didn't ship until Monday...
I finally pulled the trigger and ordered a TS seat :D, but at the last step in the payment process I received an error :(. I am using Paypal because that will only cost me 1% for conversion fee compared to 3% from my credit card. I am pretty sure that i have not paid for the seat...
I know these topics have been discussed alot and i have searched through the threads and i could not find much for direct comparisons between Spencer's mod and a Top Sadllery seat (or other aftermarket seats).
I know i want to do somthing to my seat soon, but cannot decide what i should do...
I am looking to buy 12 gauge semi-auto shotgun in a few days. this is the first shotgun that i will own. I have shot a fair amount of shells, but only from "cheap" remington 870's. I am pretty sure i want a decent semi-auto but i am budgeting under $600.
I think the best bet is to go used...
although totally different machines, I would have to say I would love to have one if I could afford it.
it was a 2006 with 2k miles. I loved it. I thought it was an old man bike, but I would definitely rock that bike and love every second of it.

I have gotten into the habit of using every gear (except first) when down shifting even when traveling at very very relaxed speeds. I know you need to be in first when you stop, but down shifting with rev matching seems a little overkill on the street sometimes.
Some of my friends will just...
Last night I went out for a ride with a friend from work. He rides a 2003 Honda shadow 1300 with a few mods like custom seat, windsheild, handgaurds, loud exhaust, ect.
My FZ6 is my first bike and the only bike that I have really ridden on the street. I cannot believe how different it was...
I live in wahpeton, and don't hasn't any friends that ride sportbikes (a few that rode cruisers tho). Just checking to see if there is anybody in the area.
I have seen one other fz6 in wahpeton, and several sportbikes, but most of them are students at NDSCS that ride on sandals and shorts...
