If you have a need to paint, here is what I did on the bars, rear sets, and radiator guards - which I left off to positively ensure that Black Fizzers are always FASTER RED, and Blue ones! :BLAA:

I wish I had seen the black bars earlier!

I just installed black Rizoma grips and bar ends from PJs Parts, OEM silver FZ1 bar, and Black levers from 2Wheels.

If I were to do it again, I'd get the black bar and D3 grips (I totally love the Rizomas, but I think D3s are a little better priced).

The Black Spider grips are Awesome! Sticky like glue and like $12 bucks plus they look good. Lots of colors too. Also the FZ1 bars came from ronayers an OEM Yamaha parts distributor. . .

Yasko, I got the same exact bar you did. I found the grips on e-bay as well. The levers look really good, just need to find the energy and time to put them on, lol (I am a e-bay finatic, lol)

I can't speak for the 8 but yes, the bar is threaded so the 6 end goes right in. 99% certain the 8 is the same.

Grips came from local shop but can be found on line too. IIRC they are Peak black - - - Spider Grips Peak Grips Black Black PEAK-B/B from: EDR Performance - Motorcycle Service

I forgot; you"ll have to drill a hole and cut off a bump. Others cut off the bump on the throttle housing where it goes into the bar.

FZ8 uses different bar ends. You want either FZ1 (for flat) or FZ6R (for rise).

Black if you'd like them to fade to a browny bronze colour after a few weeks otherwise silver.

(I've had 3 sets on the FZ6 now which all faded, gave up in the end and got silver)
