FZ1 Bars

Is there any down sides to filling the tabs? Is there a greater chance for the controls to slip with the tabs gone?

I didn't see a down side on mine. I was able to get the grips closer to the bar ends by not having the tap on the under side.

Got mine from Boats.net for 36$ shipped.
I love the new FZ1 handlebars on my bike. I also put on the shorty levers and grips

Very happy with the results

Hay, That looks very good.

I just did the install, took me maybe 45 minutes. I opted for drilling the bar instead of filing the tab, I just laid the two bars on the ground and eyeballed the location. Very quick and easy.
sorry the pics could definitely be better

Show offf... :drool:Dang your bike looks awesome!!!!

Thanks man!
So, any votes on how long its taken to get this way?? Yes, 2+ years. Let me say it sucks not having a garage or a shop of my own any more. Some day...

There is still more to do so slowly it shall progress. I am pumped about how it handles tho! Suspension is the unsung hero in the back ground!
