Well, date night last night and it was my pick - so I picked The Descendents (come on, CLOONEY :drool::drool::drool
Really surprised how good it was. Wasn't a glamorous role for George, just great acting.
Story was a bit of a tear-jerker along with lots of light hearted moments. I admit, I shed a few tears.
All in all an extremely well scripted, directed and acted movie. Everyone in it did a great job. Clooneys "daughters" stole the limelight.
Highly recommended. I can definitely see why it is winning so many awards.
If you want to score points with your ladies, see it. Even Mike enjoyed it (ok, no Salma Hayek, Scarlett Johannsen or Kate Beckinsdale for him to "perve" at, but he still enjoyed the movie).
BTW, the Hawaiian scenery almost steals the show - absolutely stunning
