Why the obscure reference to softball? Have I missed something?

Reference to the ease of the question. Softball is considered to be an easy version of Baseball. If an interviewer is very easy on the interviewee, they are sometimes accused of conducting a softball interview or throwing softball questions at the interviewee. My comment was meant to arise a chuckle and fill in the character requirements for posting.
