Re: MotoGP Race 2 - Austin COTA

As much of a Rossi fan as I am, I am looking forward to this season and Marquez showing his outrageous talent on that impossibly fast Honda. For God's sake he is wearing out the elbows of his leathers in corners!

When Stoner announced his retirement I predicted that "they" would get MM onto the factory bike by hook or by crook and they did. I have been laughed at in our local when I said that MM could be champion this year. Let's see.

I love the look of the track, it seems an impeccable venue.

Anyone else got the MotoGP iPad app? I got it yesterday and it is really cool, the graphics and the live commentary are great when all we get on tv here is MotoGP qualifying and the 3 races.

8th for Rossi. Good for us and added excitement Sunday for him- we don't want him qualifying anywhere near where he finishes the race :D

Cal on Bradl's bike next year maybe? Shame Yamaha just don't have the money to put a full spec bike under him.

Re: MotoGP Race 2 - Austin COTA

What a race! COTA is a crazy technical track, cant wait for it to be in racing games.

Not going to be the guy that spoils the results, but what a race for 1st.

And what a pass......

This was definitely a Honda day.

So Rossi lost part of one of his front brake discs. Spies had chest pains and Edwards' rear wheel was off the ground in turns, so bad that he was forced to retire the race.

I was there all 3 days too. Today camped out by turn 8 & 9. Good fun, got to see a majority of the track and a giant TV was close by for us to see what we couldn't. The Moto2 and Moto3 races were exciting to watch too.

The COTA was featured within the game F1 2012 even before Formula1 drivers got the chance to practice there. Such a fun track. One of my all-time favorite tracks featured in the many racing games I've played. :BLAA:
