I installed Rizoma LED indicators. I installed the rear one first and they worked as they should. After I installed the fronts is where my problem started.

My rear led turn signals stay half lit like running lights as do the front, and the green indicators on my gauge stay lit. Signals still work, the fronts blink on/off and the rear just blink by going brighter.

I know the rears are not suppose to be on like running lights. Any ideas?>

I also have the ELFR-1 DOT Flasher Relay
Custom LED ELFR-1 Electronic LED Flasher RelayThe ELFR-1 is a plug and play replacement flasher relay that operates at the standard DOT (stock) blink rate for motorcycles with stock blinkers, or all LED blinkers or any combination of both.

I'm thinking you mistakenly mixed up one of the three leads on the front lights to ground when it should have been the other. i.e. the common ground is not the one you think it is. MB look at that.

For the front I used these -
Yamaha Turn Signal Adapter Plugs For: R1 R6 FZ1 FZ6 - eBay (item 370415505407 end time Aug-07-10 09:02:53 PDT)

Thanks! I will take it all apart and check. The rears worked fine, it was not until I wired up the fronts. I did not use the resistors that rizoma supplied, I installed a ELFR-1 Plug & Play Electronic LED Flasher Relay and from what I understand you dont need the resistors if you use this relay.

The front lights are a dual filament while the back are a single filament bulb. The connector from your link is for a single filament. Lockhartphillips makes thes as well.

The dual one looks like this, three leads off the connecotr:
LP Sportbike Direct :: LP USA LIGHTWORKS :: TURN SIGNALS :: TURN SIGNAL ACCESSORIES :: MARKER LIGHT CONNECTORS :: LP USA MARKER LIGHT CONNECTORS SUZUKI/YAMAHA DUAL FILAMENT

The single looks like this:
LP Sportbike Direct :: LP USA LIGHTWORKS :: TURN SIGNALS :: TURN SIGNAL ACCESSORIES :: MARKER LIGHT CONNECTORS :: LP USA MARKER LIGHT CONNECTORS SUZUKI/YAMAHA SINGLE FILAMENT

Ignore the shape of the gray connectors as I think they used a general picture which does not accurately show the proper shape of them for the Yamaha/Suzuki's.

I'm not familiar with the Rizoma's, but the one's you are adding to the front not have three wires coming out of them?

Edit: I believe your Rizoma's have only two wires, you need something like this...

which behaves like this...

Thanks bd43!

I had the connectors connected wrong, they fit together more than one way. At the same time I used the 3rd wire for the two little lights in it above the headlight. Thinking of changing those bulbs to yellow, and using those for running lights on the front.
