yaw and bas!

This from Wikipedia:
Bas-relief[1] is a sort of sculpture where the sulpture has less depth behind the faces or figures than the actual faces or figures would have, when measured.
The advantage of the natural contour of the figures allows the work to be viewed from many angles without distortion of the figures themselves.

Now I must admit that I did not realise there was a hyphen between "bas" and "relief"

again from Wikipedia:
In flight dynamics, the principal rotations are known as pitch, roll and yaw. The term rotation is also used in aviation to refer to the upward pitch of an aircraft, particularly when starting the major climb for takeoff.

But when I was a practising photographer using 4"x5" view cameras, it was a common term for the movement of the lens or film back, either leaning it towards or away from the subject

Dangit! I was going to PM the words I came up with until I scrolled down and saw what you posted. I thought of "yaw" on my little lonesome too. All in all, I came up with 13. Oh well. I'll be quicker next time.
