I chose to post this because the sports highlight people felt it wasnt too gory to be shown on national television.

the good news though is that he broke NOTHING in his neck and spine. wow. he does have a brain hemotoma whatever that is but it doesnt sound good.....

i just really hope he pulls thru. *here's hoping*

I thought that I read that he's in a medically-induced coma, which means they put him in a coma to protect him and help his recovery.

I'm no doctor, nor do I play one on t.v...

You are correct mate, he is in an induced coma.
This enables very close monitoring and control of his cerebral perfusion pressures. This is achieved by adjusting the amount of oxygen that he is breathing and the rate that he breaths at.:thumbup:

It is a shocking accident, I am keeping my fingers crossed.
