Ignition problem

Hi everyone.

I have a 2004 FZ6. My problem is: the lights on the display come on when turning the ignition key, but the fuel pump doesn't prime and the starting motor won't kick in. Any one know what's wrong? It was fine going to work Monday morning but wouldn't start at the end of the day.

Are you getting an indication that the Immobilizer circuit is engaged (I think it's a flashing red light on the instrument cluster)?

Have you confirmed that the STOP switch on the throttle is in the RUN position?

What is the voltage of the battery?

If someone knocked over your bike, and was kind enough to pick it up again, the bike will not start as the lean angle sensor has been activated (fault code 30/41, diagnostic 08). Reset by turning the ignition ON, turning the STOP switch to STOP, turn ignition OFF - Then return the STOP switch to RUN and try the starting sequence again.

Finally, the starting circuit cut-off relay OR the lean angle sensor may have failed.
