    I've owned it for almost 5 years and bought it from the dealer (the previous owner was the original owner and traded in). Bought with 3800 miles. I've babied this bike. Changed the synthetic oil religiously, lubed the chain every 500 miles, and all cables lubed last year. Motul blue dot 4 brake...

    To lube cables or not....

    Doing my 12k service at the moment and following my Haynes manual stating that I need to lubricate my cables. I have a tool to do it but I have read that new cables are made of nylon and shouldn't be lube'd as it damages them? Anyone done this?
